About Gotham City Junkie

Gotham City Junkie is where I write about memory, faith, failure, recovery, travel, work, and the strange feeling of never fully belonging anywhere.

I grew up between worlds. Germany. America. Kuwait. Hospitals. Newsrooms. Churches. meetings. Airports. ICUs. Places that shaped me, broke parts of me, and helped me see grace more clearly.

This blog isn’t a sermon. It isn’t a self-help project. And it isn’t polished content for the sake of content.

It’s just a place to tell the truth.

Sometimes I write about being a third-culture kid. Sometimes about recovery. Sometimes about people I’ve loved and lost. Sometimes about cities, dark streets, music, faith, and the ache of wanting home when you’re not sure where home is.

I believe Jesus is my life. Not my performance. Not my religious resume. Not my ability to hold everything together.

Grace is the ground under all of this.

So if you subscribe, you’re not joining a “crew.” You’re just walking with me for a while.

I’m glad you’re here.
